How Much Is Umrah From San Francisco? Prices And What's Included

Umrah from San Francisco costs $1,157 to $2,999 per person with us. The price depends on the hotel category, how many nights you stay and when you travel. Every package lists its hotels upfront, so there are no surprises later.

Each package includes your hotel stay in both holy cities and Umrah visa processing with the required insurance. We meet you at Jeddah or Madinah airport, drive you between Makkah and Madinah in an air-conditioned vehicle, and take you on a guided Ziyarat to Quba, Uhud and Jabal al-Nour.

Breakfast is included at most hotels, and our team answers on WhatsApp 24/7, whatever the time in California or Saudi Arabia. Lunch, dinner and personal spending aren’t included, but you can add half-board meals, a Haram-view room, extra nights or a Dubai or Istanbul stopover.

To keep costs down, share a quad or triple room and avoid Ramadan and the school holidays. Booking your flight from SFO early also helps.

Bay Area Umrah Trips For Families, Couples And Masjid Groups

The right package depends on who is travelling with you. It isn’t always the one with the most stars. A well-located hotel can save more walking than a luxury one further away.

In our 3-star package, for example, Emaar Taibah sits about 200 meters from Masjid an-Nabawi. Families from Fremont, San José or Hayward can travel together with our Family Umrah Packages.

These include quad rooms or family suites, reduced rates for children under 12 who share a bed, and a private vehicle instead of a crowded bus.  If you’re bringing elderly parents or a wheelchair user, tell us early.

We’ll pick a hotel with a flat, level route to the Haram and request an accessible room. Our Couple Umrah Packages give you a private room, the hotels you prefer and the nights split you want, and many couples add extra nights in Madinah.

Masjids and Islamic centers from San Francisco to Santa Clara and Sacramento can plan with our Group Umrah Packages.  These cover group flights from SFO, room allocation, transport and a shared Ziyarat schedule, with lower rates as your group grows.

Fly To Makkah From Sfo, Oak Or Sjc With The Right Umrah Route

There are no nonstop flights from the Bay Area to Saudi Arabia, so every route includes at least one connection. Most of our pilgrims fly from SFO, which has the widest choice: Emirates via Dubai, Qatar Airways via Doha, or Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, with onward flights to Jeddah or Madinah.

The trip takes around 20 to 26 hours door to door. Oakland (OAK) suits the East Bay, and San José (SJC) suits Silicon Valley, though both usually add an extra stop, so we compare total travel time first.

Our tip is to land in Madinah first and settle into the 10 to 11 hour time difference before Umrah. If you land in Jeddah, pack your Ihram in your hand luggage, because you’ll need to be in Ihram before crossing the Miqat.

When Is The Best Time For Umrah From San Francisco? Plan Smart

The best time for Umrah depends on the weather in Makkah, crowd levels, and your schedule. Winter (November-February) brings pleasant weather but higher demand, while summer offers lower prices during school vacations, though it is much hotter.

Bay Area professionals often travel during spring break or Thanksgiving week, when crowds are moderate. For the greatest reward, Ramadan, especially the last ten nights, is the most blessed time, but prices are at their highest, so book early.

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around February 8 and brings the greatest reward, but also the biggest crowds and highest prices. See our Ramadan Umrah Packages 2027 and book three to four months ahead.

Umrah usually pauses for international visitors around Hajj, roughly late April to early June 2027.

Umrah Visa From The Usa: Fast Evisa Help For Bay Area Pilgrims

US citizens can perform Umrah on the Saudi tourist eVisa outside the Hajj season. Green Card holders and US visa holders with Pakistani, Indian, Filipino or other passports may also qualify, depending on nationality.

See our Umrah Visa Service for every option. Bring a passport valid for six months and a meningococcal (ACWY) vaccine certificate. We’ll also help you book your Rawdah slot on the Nusuk app.
